BILLY - BIOGRAPHY
Billy Magnussen joined the cast of the CBS
daytime drama AS THE WORLD TURNS on January 29, 2008, taking over the role
of Casey Hughes.
A recent graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts with a BFA,
Magnussen was born in Cummings, Georgia. He recently made his Broadway stage
debut in "The Ritz" in 2007 alongside Rosie Perez and will appear in the
2008 film "Blood Night." He just recently wrapped filming on "Happy Tears" alongside Demi Moore and
Parker Posey.
In his free time, Magnussen enjoys being active and staying in shape with a
wide range of activities including rock climbing, rafting, wiffle ball and
dodge ball. Along with acting and fitness, Magnussen also enjoys indulging
in another interest, carpentry.
Magnussen currently lives in New York City and celebrates his birthday on
April 20.
